Two Credible Witnesses

2 Witnesses are required only if the signer:
– Does not have a valid government ID
– Is a minor (age of less than 18) or
– Is not in any condition to sign his/her name
– Is signing a document that is asking for witness(es).

a. An individual is qualified as witness whose name is not included in the document, and has any interest to the document.
b. Only having 1 witness is acceptable, only if the Witness is known by both Signer and Notary.

US, Canadian, Or Mexican Valid Driver's License Or A US Official Non-driver's ID

Make sure it hasn’t expired or issued within the last 5 years!

US Military ID

Make sure it hasn’t expired or issued within the last 5 years!

You may email a copy of your photo ID to us to be validated prior to us coming out.

US Passport

Make sure it hasn’t expired or issued within the last 5 years!

Foreign Passport

Must be stamped by US Homeland Security when you entered the country. Make sure it hasn’t expired or issued within the last 5 years!

Other Acceptable ID's

1. An employee ID issued by an agency or office of a California city, county, or city and county.

2. An identification card issued by a federally-recognized tribal government.

3. A valid consular identification document issued by a consulate from the applicant’s country of citizenship that meets specific requirements.

4. An inmate identification card issued by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation if the inmate is in prison. If the inmate is in custody in a local detention facility, a form of inmate identification issued by a sheriff’s department is needed instead.
